Getting Involved at CSA

Getting involved with the Cloud Security Alliance provides you with the platform for communicating your professional view on the development of cloud security and being a voice in this emerging field. Volunteers make up the core of CSA, contributing to our initiatives by debating and solidifying content via phone conferences, collaborative websites, and meeting in person at conferences. Your involvement can be as an individual member, an affiliate member or corporate member with opportunities to be part of local chapters. CSA also offers trainings, certifications, and a registry for demonstrating knowledge of specific cloud topics and evaluating your cloud security competency. Based on your expertise and depending on the specific cloud-related topic needed, speaking opportunities with CSA are available at one of our many conferences.

Please explore our Research Initiatives, Chapters, Membership, Training and Speaking sections to learn more about how to get involved.

Training Opportunities Through CSA

Would you like to deepen your knowledge in Cloud Computing?

The CSA offers education and certification for security practitioners seeking to establish their credentials as cloud security professionals. These credentials provide professional credibility to employers and companies wishing to contract personnel to supplement their cloud security staff. These certifications and trainings are the CCSK, which requires an exam online, PCI, and GRC Stack.

The CCSK constitutes an examination of basic cloud security fundamentals and encompasses a global common body of knowledge for practitioners.

PCI training is dedicated to assessing and implementing PCI DSS controls in cloud computing environments and keying in on scenarios where PCI DSS and clouds overlap.

The GRC stack unites Cloud Control Matrix, the industry’s first cloud control structure with Cloud Audit, the industry’s first distributed attestation mechanism with CAIQ, the first service objective questionnaire, and with Cloud Trust Protocol, the industry’s first cloud transparency mechanism.

Please find our current training schedule below and go to https://cloudsecurityalliance.org/education/ for more information.
